Frontier Motel

Very clean. Actually much better than expected overall. We had a family room, used the kitchen and patio and it was a pleasant stay.

The motel is located in a quiet part of town without much traffic. The room sections are split up into 2 areas across the street from each other, so our room was on one side of the street, but the check-in office is on the other side. It's a bit inconvenient if you need something from the office. But, at least there's not a lot of traffic. Our room was spacious with 2 queen-size beds. Beds and pillows are comfy. Includes a TV, fridge, microwave, and free Wi-Fi.

This is a nice little motel to stay at. From replies to other reviews you can tell it's under new management. I called and booked a room. The room itself was clean and comfortable. I think the reason most people say it had a small bathroom is because the door is so close to the toilet. The shower is spacious enough for two people to shower together. The bathroom is bigger than most motel 6 bathrooms. Thanks for the room guys, keep up the good work!

Our car broke down in Cuba right next to the Frontier the day before Thanksgiving. We had our two dogs with us and could not stay in the car due to a fuel leak. The restaurants in the area wouldn’t let us in, but the manager let us hang out in the lobby to stay warm as we waited for help. He offered us water and to leave my keys and coordinate with the tow company. I don’t know about their rooms, but the kindness to some strangers who weren’t even staying the night tell me all I need to know. I would definitely stay here when passing through Cuba!

I gave this room 5 stars, because its a hotel in the middle of no place New Mexico, their rooms are clean, their rooms are spacious, I had a kitchenette to do everything I needed. The staff was very pleasant, I had a back patio to smoke my cigar. But best yet is, I got it to go hunting I rented it and paid upfront for three nights through a booking agent, surprisingly I got a kill on the first day, and had to leave to get it processed and taken care of. The hotel not only understood they returned a big portion of my money back. This hotel brings old way customer service back to reality. The rooms were adequate and clean, would love a better tv service but I didnt watch much anyway. Thank you frontier for a great experience.

It was okay for a motel in a small town. I just didn't like the size of the bathroom. I had to open the door and climb in back of the toilet to get the door to close or I'd have to walk in the shower to close the door. The shower isn't the greatest especially if you're claustrophobic. There's a tiny entrance to get in...otherwise its just a thick wall surrounding you. It is small.

Paid ~$83 (~$97 after taxes) for one night for a double queen room. Wasn't expecting much. It was about what I expected. Pros: Hotel was fairly empty. We were at the unit across the street. Only 3/15 or so rooms were booked. So no neighbors. So nice and quiet for us. Room retained temperature well. Was 72F when we got into the room at night, and it had only dropped to 70F by the morning. We stayed in early September. No break ins. Though we always empty our vehicles at hotels. No bug infestations. Electrical outlets that I tested worked. Lights all worked. Cons: There was no bar of soap for use with the sink or shower. The office closed at 9pm. Wi-Fi didn't reach our room, so no free Wi-Fi. Overall: I would do it again because it was the least expensive hotel in Cuba that was available on short notice and the cons I could put up with.

I booked a room here through booking.com and wasn't able to stay here unfortunately. I can't express how much I appreciate the front desk guy for getting that reservation refunded. I highly recommend staying here because of the customer service. However I strongly suggest to never use booking.com for any service whatsoever.
